“Everything changed on Friday, March 13th,” says Peanut from Long Beach. “I used to wait all day by myself for my mommy and daddy to come home from work. Now they’re with me 24/7 and life couldn’t be better! Sure, they sit at the table all day and sometimes talk to their laptops, but we go on extra long walks and I curl up by my mommy’s feet all day.”
Many other four-legged fur babies have been reporting an increase in happiness during this longer than expected quarantine. We interviewed a couple from Long Beach on their remote work situation: “While this time has been a struggle for many, we have been so blessed. We both have jobs, easily transitioned into remote work, have stayed healthy, and now enjoy more snooze and family time over our long commutes.
