Peachy keen times

“Are we in a forest?” asked Olivia as we drove away from the Atlanta airport towards grandma’s place in Fayetteville. The roads were lined with hundreds of tall and lusciously green trees!

This spring break we adventured to Georgia to visit Shelby’s grandma, uncle, and aunt (and all the gorgeous trees). In our short week there, we got a true sampler platter of what Georgia’s weather, landscape, and activities were like! Whether we were sipping coffee on a crisp, clear morning, or enjoying movie night during a thunderstorm, spending time with family was what mattered most. And watching Olivia share Taco Bell and a nap in the backseat with her great-grandma was priceless.

Among our many adventures, here’s a few of our favorites!

1) Ever have mango Coke? We did! We all enjoyed tasting different Coke flavors from around the world at the Coca-Cola Museum.

2) We got to meet Taroko, the world’s largest fish, at the Georgia Aquarium (and a bunch of his friends too).

3) Some of Olivia’s favorite book characters, including Cat in the Hat, came to life in a magical puppet show at the Center for Puppetry Arts.

4) Family game night brought on the giggles and fun.

5) Olivia had a blast dancing, splashing, and sliding in her first torrential rainstorm!

6) Thank you Uncle Steve and Aunt Shelly for graciously hosting us and for all of the wonderful memories made here!
