A young Long Beach couple were reported missing on Saturday morning, but were soon discovered safe that same evening. When reporters asked where they had been, they said “with their fellow lords and ladies at the Renaissance Faire!”
This was their first time visiting these far away medieval lands, but after spending a day lost in time, they came back full of merriment! At Ren Faire, they fenced with a master swordsman, feasted on Scotch eggs, cheered for their jousting champion, tested their aim on the archery course, laughed along with the clowns and jesters, stood in awe of the falconers and their beasts and “huzzah-ed” with many fine lords and ladies from across the land.
If you’re looking for an escape from this modern world, visit the Renaissance Faire. The portal opening can be found at the Santa Fe Dam in Irwindale, California. Go to renfair.com/socal.
