July 4, 2018 marked Eddie’s 10th birthday, so his owners, Kristina and Shelby, decided to throw him a big birthday celebration! All of his human and doggie buddies were there. With treats galore, a taco piñata and cuddles from everyone, this little pup was in seventh heaven.

Just a few weeks after Eddie’s birthday bash, his heart disease took a huge turn for the worst. Walks at the park became shorter, visits to the vet became more frequent, and his daily pill count skyrocketed. Despite each added hardship, Eddie’s chipper spirit never dampened.

On July 26th, Eddie had his last belly rub. Eddie filled our home and life with an energy and love that is irreplaceable. Despite his short time with us, he will remain our little boy forever.
